David Brown, MD

我(他/他)自1993年以来一直受雇于PCC学生健康中心. My specialty is diagnosis & 治疗各种肌肉骨骼疾病，因为我是委员会认证的 in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. In addition, I have background medical training in Sport's Medicine.

Valli Cohen, MSN, NP

I (she/her) received my nursing degree from University of San Franciso, worked as a Public Health Nurse in South Boston before attending the University of Rochester 作为一名执业护士，我在纽约获得了护理硕士学位.  My main emphasis has been in Women's Health. 我在许多学生健康中心工作过 从加州大学洛杉矶分校到康涅狄格州，2013年在PCC登陆.

Fiona John, RN

Fiona John  (she/ her) is a Registered Nurse. She obtained her certifications as a Registered Nurse in 1983 & her Midwifery in 1986, in Glasgow, Scotland. Prior to those certifications, she had the privilege to work in Child Development with 3-5 year olds from low income families, Followed by being a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Rehabilitation Unit. 

In 1987 she immigrated to California. Her experience includes,  30+ years in Perinatal High Risk , Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, Newborn Nursery, NICU & mother/ baby Home Health . An area also known as Maternal Child Health. Outside of her area of experience, she worked in Immune Suppressed Units in LA & the San Gabriel Valley during the early years of the AIDS Epidemic. 这对菲奥娜来说至关重要，需要尊重 each other no matter our job description. Rodrigo Molina-Chicas, RN, BSN

Rodrigo Molina-Chicas, RN, BSN, (he/him) is the newest Registered Nurse to join the Student Health Services Family. 罗德里戈最初是PCC的学生，毕业了 2012年毕业于西海岸大学，获得护理学士学位. After graduating, Rodrigo worked as an RN Supervisor/Charge Nurse at Monrovia Convalescent Hospital in Duarte, CA for 2 years where he was first able to put his nursing skills to use. He then went on to work at the LA County Men’s Central Jail  for the next 7 years where he became proficient in the use of Naloxone (Narcan) for reversing opioid overdoses, treating injuries, administering first aid, wound care, and emergency services to the patients there. 2022年7月，罗德里戈加入了学生健康服务中心，在那里 他现在为PCC的学生提供最高水平的关怀和服务. Rodrigo believes that mental and physical health are connected, and that both need to be maintained in order to excel in all aspects of life. A fun fact: Rodrigo was the team captain of the 2019 Correctional Health Services running team, the only medical team to participate in the LAPD’s famous Baker to Vegas relay race.

Jonalyn Than, MSN, FNP-BC

Jonalyn (she/her) has been caring for PCC students in the Student Health Center since 2013. She graduated from UCLA School of Nursing in 2005 as a family nurse practitioner, 从那以后，她主要从事妇女健康和大学健康方面的工作.

Mindy Throop, MSN, FNP-C

Mindy Throop MSN, FNP-C (she/her) has spent her career first as a Nurse and then as 护理病人终生的执业护士. She began in the hospital with new moms and babies and then spent several years in internal medicine, thoroughly enjoying caring for all ages. 首先，她花了5年时间在大学卫生系 treating students and staff at Mt. Mindy earned her BS in Kinesiology from Westmont College,  BSN and MSN and Nurse Practitioner Certification at Azusa Pacific University and is working towards a Board certification as Health and Wellness coach. 她最初来自科罗拉多州，但一直住在 San Gabriel Valley for 20+ years with her husband, Adam Throop, two children, Sawyer and Cheyenne, and dog, Moema. 明迪喜欢学习和教育有关健康的一切 and wellness.

Carmita Veliz, RN, MSN

Carmita Veliz，注册护士，MSN，(她/她)是一名注册护士(RN).  She graduated 格伦代尔社区学院(GCC)注册护士项目.  She then enrolled at the California State University of Northridge (CSUN) to obtain her Bachelor’s degree with a School 护士证书，但是这被1994年的地震打断了.  Carmita then transferred to the University of Phoenix where she completed her Masters in Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Education.  Carmita has worked in the Hospital setting, 社区卫生机构，并担任认证病例管理员. She returned to GCC and worked at their Student Health Center, at the Nursing Lab, and served as the Chairperson for the Health & Safety Committee. Ann Walker, MD

Ann Walker M.D. (她/她)是毕业于杜克大学的有执照的医生 School of Medicine in North Carolina and completed an Internal Medicine Internship 在费城托马斯·杰斐逊大学医院实习. She worked for 10 years in a multispecialty group  practice doing in- and out-patient adult medicine in southern New Jersey. 2000年，她和家人搬到了洛杉矶，开始了转型 到社区大学学生健康，以便更好地平衡工作与生活. Jessica Beauvais

Daisy Huynh

Daisy Huynh (she/her) is a PCC Alumni who completed her transfer requirements at PCC and transferred to Cal State LA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business 行政管理，有人力资源管理选项. Karen Gonzalez

Karen Gonzalez(她/她)是中级文员二级. In her role, she provides administrative support for the Student Health Center handling the reception area which includes assisting students in-person, by telephone or by e-mail. Karen is also a primary administrator 学生健康中心的电子病历系统. She has been with Student Health Services since October 2013 originally as a student worker and then transitioning into her full-time role in May 2015. Karen is also a Pasadena City College alumnus having completed a Certificate of Achievement for the Medical Assisting Administrative program in 2013. 她还获得了社会学、心理学、 Child & Adolescent Development, and Social & Behavioral Sciences. Amanda Freeth

阿曼达·弗里思(她/她)是学生健康服务中心的健康教育者.  She attended Mt. Ron Chico

Hey there, I'm Ronald "Ronny" Chico (he/him), a native of the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California. 这些天，我把加州蒙罗维亚称为家，但我的旅程已经结束了 me far and wide.

Back in the spring of 2023, I proudly walked across the stage at PCC, clutching my associate degree in paralegal studies. That was just the beginning. Now, I'm deeply involved as a part of the Health Education Team at my alma mater's Student Health 服务，我在那里工作，以促进福祉和支持我的同学.

But that's not all. 我已经把我的目光投向了更大的事情，目前正在努力 我正在国立大学攻读学士学位. Learning has always been a passion of mine, and I'm not one to shy away from a challenge.
